Alexander is a lawyer at Chimpoulis & Hunter and has been practicing trial law in Florida since 1999. Alexander has litigated cases ranging from murder to complex international commercial cases and has tried nearly 75 cases to verdict. His practice now focuses on Defense of Deliberate Indifference and Medical Malpractice claims on behalf of prison medical providers; defense of Medical Malpractice claims against private medical providers; defense of Premises Liability claims against private medical providers.
He earned dual bachelor degrees at Florida State University in English Literature and German Literature and Language. Alexander attended the University of Miami School of law where he graduated cum laude, was on the editorial board of the UM Law Review, and director of the Moot Court Board. He is admitted to U.S. District Court, for the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts.
Alexander serves on the Miami Country Day School Board of Advisors, is president of the Alumni Board and the Alumni Board at The Cushman School. He is a third-generation Miamian, holds a black belt in Taekwondo, has been a meditator for 30 years, practiced yoga for 20 years, and is fluent in German.
